He took his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Banking and Finance) at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), graduating with honors in 1968; then pursued his Master of Science in Commerce in the same university, graduating benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1975. Sometime after, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the Philippine Law School in 1995. Not contented with these degrees, he took his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) major in Commerce at the UST, graduating again benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1985; Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) at the Trinity University of Asia in 2005 with a dissertation grade of 1.0; and his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) in May 2008, with history repeating itself when he received another dissertation grade of 1.0 for his brilliant oral defense. He is still at it at present, pursuing another Ph.D. degree, this time in Criminology at the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR).

Besides the above academic credits, he is an accredited mediator, accredited arbitrator, licensed real estate broker appraiser and consultant, topnotcher in the 1998 Philippine Real Estate Consultants Examinations given by the Department of Trade and Industry, and a fellow in real estate management awarded in 1997 by the Philippine Council of Real Estate Educators, to name some.

He has also received the Real Estate Diploma from New York University in 1984; Diplomate in Business Education from the Philippine Academy of Professionals in Business Education in 2006; and the Diplomate in Real Estate Management awarded by the Philippine Councils of Educators and FIABCI Philippines in 2015. Dr. Elias Sampa is a Director of Curriculum and Programs with the responsibility of initiating Outcome Based thinking and implementation across its various programs in K-12, undergraduate and post graduate degree levels.

Today, he is concurrently responsible for Mahatma Gandhi International School, Australian International School, and the Australian Institute for Higher Education, a transnational provider of Bachelor’s Degrees in Accountancy with the Australian Catholic University and the MBA Executive program with Bradford University’s School of Business and Law.

Dr. Sampa designs and delivers faculty development trainings in a wide range of capacity building areas and he oversees curriculum implementation of various programs, including DepEd K-12, the Victorian Certificate of Education, IB Diploma, and IGCSE. He has lectured and continues to do so at Bradford University School of Management’s MBA Program in Manila (including mentoring students in Management Project Paper writing); at the Australian Catholic University in Manila; at Trinity University of Asia; Northern Quezon Community College Inc., and at Arellano University Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Sampa has authored and co-authored several University and Senior High School textbooks, published research, and presented papers at education conferences locally and internationally on topics of significance. Dr. Ong is a man who does not seem to stop learning and earning academic degrees. Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Dr. Pal having more than 14 years of experience on teaching, training, research, curriculum development, advocacy, consultancy primarily focused on Disaster Governance, Risk Management, Incident Command System, Disaster Risk Reduction, Hazard and Risk Assessment, GIS & Remote Sensing applications, Climate Change Adaptation and disaster risk management, Public Health Risk and Private Sector Risk Resilience etc.

He has administrative experience as former Dean and Pollution Control Officer and Safety & Health Manager in Lyceum of the Philippines University. He is also currently an Assessor of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) / Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) of the Department of Trade and Industry. He is also an accreditor in the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Atty. RIZWAN YOUSAF, (B.A., M.A., LL.B., LL.M.), has been proving consultancy in New York since 1994. He is working with the Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, providing services on Insurance, Immigration and business law.  Atty. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Yousaf held position of President of New York Pakistan American Lions Club from 1996 to 2001, where he achieved the highest Melvin Jones Award for his social services to poor and needy.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 1974 and Master in Arts in Communication with thesis title “ The Role of Tri-Media in the AFP Counterinsurgency Program as Perceived by the Defense Press Corps” in the same school in 1993.

She went on to pursue her Ph.D at UST, graduated in 2000 as Summa Cum Laude. Her dissertation was “A Proposed Media Education Program for the Career Course of AFP Officers”.

Currently, she held a position as a Deputy Officer under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel Director III, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel (OASPER).

Atty. RIZWAN YOUSAF, (B.A., M.A., LL.B., LL.M.), has been proving consultancy in New York since 1994. He is working with the Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, providing services on Insurance, Immigration and business law.  Atty. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Yousaf held position of President of New York Pakistan American Lions Club from 1996 to 2001, where he achieved the highest Melvin Jones Award for his social services to poor and needy.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 1974 and Master in Arts in Communication with thesis title “ The Role of Tri-Media in the AFP Counterinsurgency Program as Perceived by the Defense Press Corps” in the same school in 1993.

She went on to pursue her Ph.D at UST, graduated in 2000 as Summa Cum Laude. Her dissertation was “A Proposed Media Education Program for the Career Course of AFP Officers”.

Currently, she held a position as a Deputy Officer under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel Director III, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel (OASPER).

He finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major in Management), magna cum laude, from the University of the East in 1976; his MBA degree from Metro Manila College, in Novaliches, Quezon City, in 1985; and then his Doctor in Business Administration degree from the PSBA in 2003. His dissertation was “Strategic Total Marketing Model: For Philippine-Ready-to-Wear Garment Industry.” In 2014, he widened his professional knowledge when he obtained his Master Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Kauffmann Fasttrac Institute of Entrepreneurial Management.

He has worked as faculty member of several private institutions of learning and with a few business companies before joining Miriam College at Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. He joined Miriam College since 1997, starting as Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department, then designated in 2006 as the school’s Planning and Development Manager, before assuming in 2013 the position of Dean of the school’s College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy. With Miriam College, Dr. Lopez participated in crafting the curriculum development and design from 2006 to the present, the marketing plan, and the business plan. At PSBA, he is a part-time faculty member and teaches Marketing, Business Policy, Economic Analysis, Project Research, and Fiscal Administration courses.

Dr. Ong is a man who does not seem to stop learning and earning academic degrees. He took his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Banking and Finance) at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), graduating with honors in 1968; then pursued his Master of Science in Commerce in the same university, graduating benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1975. Sometime after, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the Philippine Law School in 1995. Not contented with these degrees, he took his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) major in Commerce at the UST, graduating again benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1985; Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) at the Trinity University of Asia in 2005 with a dissertation grade of 1.0; and his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) in May 2008, with history repeating itself when he received another dissertation grade of 1.0 for his brilliant oral defense. He is still at it at present, pursuing another Ph.D. degree, this time in Criminology at the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR).

Dr. Elias Sampa is a Director of Curriculum and Programs with the responsibility of initiating Outcome Based thinking and implementation across its various programs in K-12, undergraduate and post graduate degree levels.

Today, he is concurrently responsible for Mahatma Gandhi International School, Australian International School, and the Australian Institute for Higher Education, a transnational provider of Bachelor’s Degrees in Accountancy with the Australian Catholic University and the MBA Executive program with Bradford University’s School of Business and Law.

Dr. Sampa designs and delivers faculty development trainings in a wide range of capacity building areas and he oversees curriculum implementation of various programs, including DepEd K-12, the Victorian Certificate of Education, IB Diploma, and IGCSE. She formerly taught at the University of Manila, where she was a recipient of gold medals as Most Outstanding Accounting Professor in 1968, repeating the feat in 1970-1972, and later rose to become the Dean of the university’s College of Business Administration. Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Yousaf held position of President of New York Pakistan American Lions Club from 1996 to 2001, where he achieved the highest Melvin Jones Award for his social services to poor and needy.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 1974 and Master in Arts in Communication with thesis title “ The Role of Tri-Media in the AFP Counterinsurgency Program as Perceived by the Defense Press Corps” in the same school in 1993.

She went on to pursue her Ph.D at UST, graduated in 2000 as Summa Cum Laude. Her dissertation was “A Proposed Media Education Program for the Career Course of AFP Officers”.

Currently, she held a position as a Deputy Officer under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel Director III, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel (OASPER).

He joined Miriam College since 1997, starting as Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department, then designated in 2006 as the school’s Planning and Development Manager, before assuming in 2013 the position of Dean of the school’s College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy. With Miriam College, Dr. Lopez participated in crafting the curriculum development and design from 2006 to the present, the marketing plan, and the business plan. At PSBA, he is a part-time faculty member and teaches Marketing, Business Policy, Economic Analysis, Project Research, and Fiscal Administration courses.

Dr. Ong is a man who does not seem to stop learning and earning academic degrees. He took his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Banking and Finance) at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), graduating with honors in 1968; then pursued his Master of Science in Commerce in the same university, graduating benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1975. Dr. Elias Sampa is a Director of Curriculum and Programs with the responsibility of initiating Outcome Based thinking and implementation across its various programs in K-12, undergraduate and post graduate degree levels.

Today, he is concurrently responsible for Mahatma Gandhi International School, Australian International School, and the Australian Institute for Higher Education, a transnational provider of Bachelor’s Degrees in Accountancy with the Australian Catholic University and the MBA Executive program with Bradford University’s School of Business and Law.

Dr. Sampa designs and delivers faculty development trainings in a wide range of capacity building areas and he oversees curriculum implementation of various programs, including DepEd K-12, the Victorian Certificate of Education, IB Diploma, and IGCSE. He graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major in Marketing Management) from the Philippine School of Business administration.

He went on to pursue his MBA at PSBA graduated in 2008, and his Doctorate in Business Administration in the same school in 2015. His dissertation was on “Marketing Strategies in Selected Five Star Hotel in Metro Manila: Basis for a Strategic Hotel Marketing Model.”

He worked in different private companies, as well as with several establishments in the service sector. He also taught Marketing Management and Human Resource Management at the Graduate School of Business Philippine School of Business Administration-Manila and the Philippine Christian University.

He attended several training activities for professional advancement. PSBA also gave him the Academic Award with distinction along with some co-graduates of the MBA program upon their graduation. Along with his duties as professorial lecturer, Dr. Erwin C. Zabala was also designated as the Student Internship Program of PSBA as coordinator.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Broadcast Communication (major in Broadcasting) from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Sta.Mesa in 1998. She went on to pursue her MBA at PSBA graduated in 2007, and her Doctorate in Business Administration in the same school in 2014. Her dissertation was on “The Impact of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) on Customer Satisfaction: A Basis for Improved Implementation in Selected Jollibee Stores in Metro Manila.”

She worked in private companies, notably Jollibee Foods Corporation, as well as with several establishments in the tourism and hospitality sector. She also taught Marketing Management at the graduate schools of PUP and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina.

She attended several training activities for professional advancement such as: Systematic Managerial Analysis: Situation Analysis and Problem Analysis, Project Management, Strategic Thinking, Sales Management, Digital Marketing as well as Applied Humanitarian Logistics Management, Disaster Risk Reduction in Preparedness for Disaster Response in ASEAN, to mention some.

With Jollibee Foods Corporation, she received the Leadership Award and a Special Recognition for Unwavering Support in Sales Building Activities. PSBA also gave her the Special Academic Award along with some co-graduates of the DBA program upon their graduation.

Along with her duties as professorial lecturer, Dr. Grace Enriquez was also designated as the Managing Editor of the PSBA Graduate School Research Journal for 2016-2017.

Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Dr. Pal having more than 14 years of experience on teaching, training, research, curriculum development, advocacy, consultancy primarily focused on Disaster Governance, Risk Management, Incident Command System, Disaster Risk Reduction, Hazard and Risk Assessment, GIS & Remote Sensing applications, Climate Change Adaptation and disaster risk management, Public Health Risk and Private Sector Risk Resilience etc.

Dr. Pal authored and edited six books and published more than 55 research articles in national international journals, conferences and book chapters. In 2017 Dr. Pal has been recognized as “IRDR Young Scientists” by Integrated Research on Disaster Risk, Beijing, China.

Mr. Karl Michael E. Marasigan, the Acting Chief, Disaster Control Division and Head, QCDRRMO is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across all areas of service and operation management, especially in Disaster Risk Management in Changing Climate. He is an exceptional leader who has developed and motivated others to achieve set targets and demonstrated strong ability to manage projects from conception through to successful completion.

A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, he performs effectively even in a highly pressured working environment. He has been supervising Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Trainings and Seminars for Government and Non-Government Organizations to include the inspection of disaster vulnerable areas and lead the Quezon City Rescue in providing the highest standards towards medical care to victims of disaster within the city.

Dr. Elias Sampa is a Director of Curriculum and Programs with the responsibility of initiating Outcome Based thinking and implementation across its various programs in K-12, undergraduate and post graduate degree levels.

Today, he is concurrently responsible for Mahatma Gandhi International School, Australian International School, and the Australian Institute for Higher Education, a transnational provider of Bachelor’s Degrees in Accountancy with the Australian Catholic University and the MBA Executive program with Bradford University’s School of Business and Law.

Dr. Sampa designs and delivers faculty development trainings in a wide range of capacity building areas and he oversees curriculum implementation of various programs, including DepEd K-12, the Victorian Certificate of Education, IB Diploma, and IGCSE. She finished her MBA (major in General Management) at the University of the East in 1968, then her Master of Arts in Education at the University of Manila in 1980 with cum laude honors, and finally, her PhD (major in Educational Management) at Centro Escolar University in 1992.

She formerly taught at the University of Manila, where she was a recipient of gold medals as Most Outstanding Accounting Professor in 1968, repeating the feat in 1970-1972, and later rose to become the Dean of the university’s College of Business Administration. Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Dr. Pal having more than 14 years of experience on teaching, training, research, curriculum development, advocacy, consultancy primarily focused on Disaster Governance, Risk Management, Incident Command System, Disaster Risk Reduction, Hazard and Risk Assessment, GIS & Remote Sensing applications, Climate Change Adaptation and disaster risk management, Public Health Risk and Private Sector Risk Resilience etc.

Dr. Pal authored and edited six books and published more than 55 research articles in national international journals, conferences and book chapters. In 2017 Dr. Pal has been recognized as “IRDR Young Scientists” by Integrated Research on Disaster Risk, Beijing, China.

At PSBA, he has taught at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) since 1996, or for 22 years. Overall, his teaching experience, including those in other schools, spans 51 years from 1967 to 2018 as of this writing.

Dr. Medina is an accredited Pollution Control Officer with COA No.: 2013-01350 accredited by the Laguna Lake Development Authority and COA No. 2014-NCR-0192 accredited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Environmental Management Bureau – Natuional Capial Region.

He has administrative experience as former Dean and Pollution Control Officer and Safety & Health Manager in Lyceum of the Philippines University. He is also currently an Assessor of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) / Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) of the Department of Trade and Industry. He is also an accreditor in the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Mr. Karl Michael E. Marasigan, the Acting Chief, Disaster Control Division and Head, QCDRRMO is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across all areas of service and operation management, especially in Disaster Risk Management in Changing Climate. He is an exceptional leader who has developed and motivated others to achieve set targets and demonstrated strong ability to manage projects from conception through to successful completion.

A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, he performs effectively even in a highly pressured working environment. He has been supervising Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Trainings and Seminars for Government and Non-Government Organizations to include the inspection of disaster vulnerable areas and lead the Quezon City Rescue in providing the highest standards towards medical care to victims of disaster within the city.

Mr. Marasigan graduated with a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Lyceum of the Philippines. He has been a resource person for Local and International forums, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums. He has attended a substantial number of local and international meetings, conferences and events representing the Quezon City government. He has been an advocate of partnership building on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.

Mr. Marlon Henson Obligado, the current Chief of the Plans and Programs Section of the Office of Civil Defense, National Capital Region, a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Carnegie Mellon University, Australia, and Master of Arts in Teaching Social Sciences from De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, was also a Member and Technical expert for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation of the Philippine Negotiating Team during the 21^st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change where the Paris Agreement on Climate Change was approved in 2015.

He formed part of the team that developed major policy instruments and plans such as the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan and Framework, the APEC Disaster Risk Reduction Framework, the Memorandum of Understanding for a Joint Collaboration Program for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, and the Philippine Position paper for UNFCCC negotiations for COP21.

He is also a member of the National and Regional Selection Committee of the Gawad KALASAG and the lead evaluator for Cities and Municipalities categories, evaluating the DRR programs and projects of partner agencies. He is also involved in project development and strengthening institutional linkages and partnership with different stakeholders to international development partners such as JICA, AusAID, AECID, WFP, and UNICEF.

Atty. RIZWAN YOUSAF, (B.A., M.A., LL.B., LL.M.), has been proving consultancy in New York since 1994. He is working with the Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, providing services on Insurance, Immigration and business law.  Atty. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Yousaf held position of President of New York Pakistan American Lions Club from 1996 to 2001, where he achieved the highest Melvin Jones Award for his social services to poor and needy.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 1974 and Master in Arts in Communication with thesis title “ The Role of Tri-Media in the AFP Counterinsurgency Program as Perceived by the Defense Press Corps” in the same school in 1993.

She went on to pursue her Ph.D at UST, graduated in 2000 as Summa Cum Laude. Her dissertation was “A Proposed Media Education Program for the Career Course of AFP Officers”.

Currently, she held a position as a Deputy Officer under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel Director III, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel (OASPER).

He joined Miriam College since 1997, starting as Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department, then designated in 2006 as the school’s Planning and Development Manager, before assuming in 2013 the position of Dean of the school’s College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy. With Miriam College, Dr. Lopez participated in crafting the curriculum development and design from 2006 to the present, the marketing plan, and the business plan. At PSBA, he is a part-time faculty member and teaches Marketing, Business Policy, Economic Analysis, Project Research, and Fiscal Administration courses.

Dr. Ong is a man who does not seem to stop learning and earning academic degrees. He took his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Banking and Finance) at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), graduating with honors in 1968; then pursued his Master of Science in Commerce in the same university, graduating benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1975. Her dissertation was on “The Impact of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) on Customer Satisfaction: A Basis for Improved Implementation in Selected Jollibee Stores in Metro Manila.”

She worked in private companies, notably Jollibee Foods Corporation, as well as with several establishments in the tourism and hospitality sector. She also taught Marketing Management at the graduate schools of PUP and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina.

She attended several training activities for professional advancement such as: Systematic Managerial Analysis: Situation Analysis and Problem Analysis, Project Management, Strategic Thinking, Sales Management, Digital Marketing as well as Applied Humanitarian Logistics Management, Disaster Risk Reduction in Preparedness for Disaster Response in ASEAN, to mention some.

With Jollibee Foods Corporation, she received the Leadership Award and a Special Recognition for Unwavering Support in Sales Building Activities. PSBA also gave her the Special Academic Award along with some co-graduates of the DBA program upon their graduation.

Along with her duties as professorial lecturer, Dr. Grace Enriquez was also designated as the Managing Editor of the PSBA Graduate School Research Journal for 2016-2017.

Dr. Indrajit Pal presently working as Assistant Professor at Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Prior to his present assignment, he was served as faculty member at Centre for Disaster Management at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, India (A Premier National Institute for training Indian Administrative Services Officers) for more than eight years. Dr. Indrajit Pal holds Ph.D. on Seismotectonic and Earthquake Hazard Assessment, two Master’s Degrees, one in Applied Geology and another in Sociology with urban sociology specialization.

Dr. Pal also holds Diploma in Management. Dr. Pal having more than 14 years of experience on teaching, training, research, curriculum development, advocacy, consultancy primarily focused on Disaster Governance, Risk Management, Incident Command System, Disaster Risk Reduction, Hazard and Risk Assessment, GIS & Remote Sensing applications, Climate Change Adaptation and disaster risk management, Public Health Risk and Private Sector Risk Resilience etc.

Dr. Pal authored and edited six books and published more than 55 research articles in national international journals, conferences and book chapters. In 2017 Dr. Pal has been recognized as “IRDR Young Scientists” by Integrated Research on Disaster Risk, Beijing, China.

He graduated with the degree of Bachelor in Business Administration (major in Economics and Accounting) from the University of the East (UE) in 1966, after which he passed the Certified Public Accountant licensure examinations in 1967. He then obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), also from UE, in 1971, and took the bar examinations which he passed. He proceeded with the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) graduating from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in 1977, and his Doctor of Civil Law (DCl) from the same university in 1978.

He had work experiences as social technician of the then Presidential Arm on Community Development (PACD) from 1961 to 1966; with some banks as part of the Legal Department; and as faculty member of many private institutions of learning, among them, Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila (1967-1969); Philippine Women’s University (1980-1985); Philippine Christian University (1983-1988); Philippine College of Criminology (1985-1991); De la Salle University (1989-1992); Arellano Law School (from 1985 to the present); Letran College (from 1991 to the present); and PMI Colleges where he served as Dean of the College of Customs Administration (from 1981 to the present).

At PSBA, he has taught at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) since 1996, or for 22 years. Overall, his teaching experience, including those in other schools, spans 51 years from 1967 to 2018 as of this writing.
The courses he presently teaches at the GSB include: Economic Analysis in Business; International Marketing (MBA program); and Social Responsibility of Business (DBA program).

Dr. Medina is a holder of the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degree from Far Eastern University (FEU), 1981; Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, also from FEU, 1993; Master of Science in Chemistry, from Adamson University, 1998; and PhD in Management, Adamson University, 2000. His dissertation was on “Waste Management Practices in the Chemistry Laboratory of Selected Universities within Metro Manila: An Assessment”. He has obtained a certificate in teacher education program from the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University in 2006 and has obtained a Post-Doctoral in Quality Management System in Higher Education from the Lyceum of the Philippines University in 2012.

He passed the licensure examinations for chemical engineers (1983) and for teachers (2008). His attendance and participation in multiple seminar-workshops up to date indicate his growth in his professional career.

Dr. Medina is an accredited Pollution Control Officer with COA No.: 2013-01350 accredited by the Laguna Lake Development Authority and COA No. 2014-NCR-0192 accredited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Environmental Management Bureau – Natuional Capial Region.

He has administrative experience as former Dean and Pollution Control Officer and Safety & Health Manager in Lyceum of the Philippines University. He is also currently an Assessor of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) / Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) of the Department of Trade and Industry. He is also an accreditor in the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Finally, he is also currently a consultant/resource person in the Productivity and Development Center – Development Academy of the Philippines

Dr. Manuel Quintal, completed his Associate in Arts and Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science and minor in English from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila), Bachelor of Laws from Far Eastern University Institute of Law, Master of Arts, major in Political Science from Manuel L. Quezon University, Doctor of Philosophy, major in Political Science from Concordia College & University, and Master of Laws, major in International Law from Hofstra University School of Law.

He managed his Law Office (Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, P.C.) in New York since 1989 with a concentration on immigration, residential and commercial real estate closings, contracts, wills and probates, matrimonial, bankruptcy, accidents, civil cases.

Mr. Karl Michael E. Marasigan, the Acting Chief, Disaster Control Division and Head, QCDRRMO is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across all areas of service and operation management, especially in Disaster Risk Management in Changing Climate. He is an exceptional leader who has developed and motivated others to achieve set targets and demonstrated strong ability to manage projects from conception through to successful completion.

A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, he performs effectively even in a highly pressured working environment. He has been supervising Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Trainings and Seminars for Government and Non-Government Organizations to include the inspection of disaster vulnerable areas and lead the Quezon City Rescue in providing the highest standards towards medical care to victims of disaster within the city.

Mr. Marasigan graduated with a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Lyceum of the Philippines. He has been a resource person for Local and International forums, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums. He has attended a substantial number of local and international meetings, conferences and events representing the Quezon City government. He has been an advocate of partnership building on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.

Mr. Marlon Henson Obligado, the current Chief of the Plans and Programs Section of the Office of Civil Defense, National Capital Region, a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Carnegie Mellon University, Australia, and Master of Arts in Teaching Social Sciences from De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, was also a Member and Technical expert for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation of the Philippine Negotiating Team during the 21^st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change where the Paris Agreement on Climate Change was approved in 2015.

He formed part of the team that developed major policy instruments and plans such as the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan and Framework, the APEC Disaster Risk Reduction Framework, the Memorandum of Understanding for a Joint Collaboration Program for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, and the Philippine Position paper for UNFCCC negotiations for COP21.

He is also a member of the National and Regional Selection Committee of the Gawad KALASAG and the lead evaluator for Cities and Municipalities categories, evaluating the DRR programs and projects of partner agencies. He is also involved in project development and strengthening institutional linkages and partnership with different stakeholders to international development partners such as JICA, AusAID, AECID, WFP, and UNICEF.

Prof. Abdul Ghafoor completed his Master’s of Administrative Sciences in Public Administration in 1985 at the University of the Punjab and his Master’s in Business Administration in 1989 at the Lahore University of Management Science, both in Lahore, Pakistan. His professional banking career spanned for 8 years where he progressed through the hierarchies of different local and multinational banks, including Chase Manhattan Bank NA (JP Morgan Chase). In 1997, he moved to Dubai and ventured into entrepreneurship where he started offering Management Consultancy to Small and Medium Enterprises. While in Dubai, with its unparalleled growth, Mr. Ghafoor delved in the booming Real Estate Sector where he sold properties in two states of the United Arab Emirates and was also one of the pioneers of Short-Lets Self-Catering Apartments in Dubai. In November 2011, he founded Mangrove Cleaning Services LLC, a domestic and commercial cleaning business following the Blue Ocean Strategy and adopted Steam Cleaning as a principal method of its service delivery. It has since then become the most sought after Deep Cleaning company in Dubai, with its Unique Selling Proposition #GreenCleaning. His specialties include idea generation, conceptualization, strategy, business modeling, motivation, leadership, new business development, startups, and public speaking.

Atty. RIZWAN YOUSAF, (B.A., M.A., LL.B., LL.M.), has been proving consultancy in New York since 1994. He is working with the Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, providing services on Insurance, Immigration and business law.  Atty. Yousaf obtained his BA, MA (major in Political Science) and his LL.B ( Bachelor of Laws) degrees from Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan, later in pursuit of his legal career he obtained his Master of Laws from New Your University (NYU) and Post Doctoral, LL.M from North Western California University, USA.

His most admired legal writing was his Thesis on United Nations, titled as World – Court- Peace in Nuclear Pieces.  Presently, Atty. Yousaf engaged with the Law Office specialized in Insurance Claims, Immigration and Business Solutions. Atty. Yousaf is also a Licensed Realtor in the state of New Jersey USA, where he mostly buys and sells real estate for his investors for profit. Atty. Yousaf held position of President of New York Pakistan American Lions Club from 1996 to 2001, where he achieved the highest Melvin Jones Award for his social services to poor and needy.

She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in 1974 and Master in Arts in Communication with thesis title “ The Role of Tri-Media in the AFP Counterinsurgency Program as Perceived by the Defense Press Corps” in the same school in 1993.

She went on to pursue her Ph.D at UST, graduated in 2000 as Summa Cum Laude. Her dissertation was “A Proposed Media Education Program for the Career Course of AFP Officers”.

Currently, she held a position as a Deputy Officer under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel Director III, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Personnel (OASPER).

She attended several trainings, seminars, workshops and related activities for professional advancement here and abroad.

He finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major in Management), magna cum laude, from the University of the East in 1976; his MBA degree from Metro Manila College, in Novaliches, Quezon City, in 1985; and then his Doctor in Business Administration degree from the PSBA in 2003. His dissertation was “Strategic Total Marketing Model: For Philippine-Ready-to-Wear Garment Industry.” In 2014, he widened his professional knowledge when he obtained his Master Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Kauffmann Fasttrac Institute of Entrepreneurial Management.

He has worked as faculty member of several private institutions of learning and with a few business companies before joining Miriam College at Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. He joined Miriam College since 1997, starting as Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department, then designated in 2006 as the school’s Planning and Development Manager, before assuming in 2013 the position of Dean of the school’s College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy. With Miriam College, Dr. Lopez participated in crafting the curriculum development and design from 2006 to the present, the marketing plan, and the business plan. At PSBA, he is a part-time faculty member and teaches Marketing, Business Policy, Economic Analysis, Project Research, and Fiscal Administration courses.

He has enriched his professional experience, and enhanced his knowledge and skills in business administration and management by attending seminars and conferences and by serving as resource speaker in many occasions.
His published works include: Windows to Entrepreneurship; A Teaching Guide and “Total Quality Strategic Marketing Model for Philippine RTW Garment Industry” (an article printed in the PSBA Research Journal).

He co-authored two books, namely: Development of an Entrepreneurial Curriculum Framework and Approaches for Global Competitiveness and A Bottom-Up Development Approach Model for a Lifelong Entrepreneurship Education in the Philippines.

Dr. Ong is a man who does not seem to stop learning and earning academic degrees. He took his Bachelor of Science in Commerce (major in Banking and Finance) at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), graduating with honors in 1968; then pursued his Master of Science in Commerce in the same university, graduating benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1975. Sometime after, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the Philippine Law School in 1995. Not contented with these degrees, he took his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) major in Commerce at the UST, graduating again benemeritus (magna cum laude) in 1985; Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) at the Trinity University of Asia in 2005 with a dissertation grade of 1.0; and his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) in May 2008, with history repeating itself when he received another dissertation grade of 1.0 for his brilliant oral defense. He is still at it at present, pursuing another Ph.D. degree, this time in Criminology at the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR).

Besides the above academic credits, he is an accredited mediator, accredited arbitrator, licensed real estate broker appraiser and consultant, topnotcher in the 1998 Philippine Real Estate Consultants Examinations given by the Department of Trade and Industry, and a fellow in real estate management awarded in 1997 by the Philippine Council of Real Estate Educators, to name some.

He has also received the Real Estate Diploma from New York University in 1984; Diplomate in Business Education from the Philippine Academy of Professionals in Business Education in 2006; and the Diplomate in Real Estate Management awarded by the Philippine Councils of Educators and FIABCI Philippines in 2015. To add to these, he has developed himself professionally through various training seminars local and abroad.

He had work stints as chair/member of various committees in the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Professional Regulation Commission where he sits as Chair of the PRC Board of Real Estate Service since 2010 up to the present.

He is a true-blue entrepreneur who founded business companies if not their top official. The awards, citations, and other forms of recognition that he has received count as a fitting tribute to his excellence in the areas of his expertise. Finally, he is the author of six books; a well-known speaker, resource person, and consultant; a columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer; a TV host of such programs as Kartada Alas (2003) and Entrepinoy (2005); and editor-in-chief of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Official Gazette (2004-2005).

Dr. Elias Sampa is a Director of Curriculum and Programs with the responsibility of initiating Outcome Based thinking and implementation across its various programs in K-12, undergraduate and post graduate degree levels.

Today, he is concurrently responsible for Mahatma Gandhi International School, Australian International School, and the Australian Institute for Higher Education, a transnational provider of Bachelor’s Degrees in Accountancy with the Australian Catholic University and the MBA Executive program with Bradford University’s School of Business and Law.

Dr. Sampa designs and delivers faculty development trainings in a wide range of capacity building areas and he oversees curriculum implementation of various programs, including DepEd K-12, the Victorian Certificate of Education, IB Diploma, and IGCSE. He has lectured and continues to do so at Bradford University School of Management’s MBA Program in Manila (including mentoring students in Management Project Paper writing); at the Australian Catholic University in Manila; at Trinity University of Asia; Northern Quezon Community College Inc., and at Arellano University Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Sampa has authored and co-authored several University and Senior High School textbooks, published research, and presented papers at education conferences locally and internationally on topics of significance. His research on faculty readiness for OBE in Higher Education (2014) has guided his conduct of faculty OBE training at various universities, colleges and schools on: curriculum design, alignment and implementation; facilitating learning; and auditing protocols related to institutional readiness, curriculum, learning experience, and assessment – all related to OBE and Technology Integration.

She took her Bachelor of Commercial Science (major in Accounting) at Jose Rizal University in 1964, and passed the licensure examination for accountants in 1965, qualifying her to be a Certified Public Accountant.

She finished her MBA (major in General Management) at the University of the East in 1968, then her Master of Arts in Education at the University of Manila in 1980 with cum laude honors, and finally, her PhD (major in Educational Management) at Centro Escolar University in 1992.

She formerly taught at the University of Manila, where she was a recipient of gold medals as Most Outstanding Accounting Professor in 1968, repeating the feat in 1970-1972, and later rose to become the Dean of the university’s College of Business Administration. After work stints as accounting practitioner with other schools as well as with public agencies and private companies, she joined PSBA starting in 1991.

She taught a range of courses in the Graduate School of Business, PSBA, such as Financial Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Fiscal management Approach, Budget Policy & Process Debts and Grants, State Audit Theory, Organizational Theory & Design, Property Procurement & Management, etc.

He had work experiences as social technician of the then Presidential Arm on Community Development (PACD) from 1961 to 1966; with some banks as part of the Legal Department; and as faculty member of many private institutions of learning, among them, Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila (1967-1969); Philippine Women’s University (1980-1985); Philippine Christian University (1983-1988); Philippine College of Criminology (1985-1991); De la Salle University (1989-1992); Arellano Law School (from 1985 to the present); Letran College (from 1991 to the present); and PMI Colleges where he served as Dean of the College of Customs Administration (from 1981 to the present).

At PSBA, he has taught at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) since 1996, or for 22 years. Overall, his teaching experience, including those in other schools, spans 51 years from 1967 to 2018 as of this writing.
The courses he presently teaches at the GSB include: Economic Analysis in Business; International Marketing (MBA program); and Social Responsibility of Business (DBA program).

Dr. Medina is a holder of the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degree from Far Eastern University (FEU), 1981; Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, also from FEU, 1993; Master of Science in Chemistry, from Adamson University, 1998; and PhD in Management, Adamson University, 2000. His dissertation was on “Waste Management Practices in the Chemistry Laboratory of Selected Universities within Metro Manila: An Assessment”. He has obtained a certificate in teacher education program from the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University in 2006 and has obtained a Post-Doctoral in Quality Management System in Higher Education from the Lyceum of the Philippines University in 2012.

He passed the licensure examinations for chemical engineers (1983) and for teachers (2008). His attendance and participation in multiple seminar-workshops up to date indicate his growth in his professional career.

Dr. Medina is an accredited Pollution Control Officer with COA No.: 2013-01350 accredited by the Laguna Lake Development Authority and COA No. 2014-NCR-0192 accredited by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Environmental Management Bureau – Natuional Capial Region.

He has administrative experience as former Dean and Pollution Control Officer and Safety & Health Manager in Lyceum of the Philippines University. He is also currently an Assessor of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) / Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) of the Department of Trade and Industry. He is also an accreditor in the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Finally, he is also currently a consultant/resource person in the Productivity and Development Center – Development Academy of the Philippines

He has been with GSB-PSBA since 2009 teaching various post-graduate courses. He is also a professor 7D at New Era University, professorial lecturer at Asian Institute of Maritime Studies and Philippine State College of Aeronotics, Full Professor at Lyceum of htte Philippines, Associate Professor at Adamson University, and Reviewer at Manila Review Institute, Inc.. He is frequently invited in conferences, seminar-workshops, research evaluator, and other similar events as technical resource speake or research referee, such as the “Department of Trade and Industry – Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC) Certificate of Recognition “Continued Support and Active Involvement as Assessor for 2018 PQC Cycle” on December 13, 2018”.

He has a lot of publications to his credit, including “Utilization of Waste Cooking Oil for the Production of Ethanol Based Biodiesel”, “Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISO 14001 EMS-based): Basis of Sustainability Program”, “Hydraulic Turbo Charger and Rotating Duct Pressure Exchanger for Energy
Recovery in Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) System”, “Conversion of Sugarcane Bagasse to Renewable Semi-Liquid Fuel through Direct Thermo-Chemical Liquefaction”, “Design, Fabrication, and Testing of an Automated Wheel Chair-To-Bed Transferring Unit”, “Performance Evaluation of a Low Cost Pico-Hydroelectric Plant Using the Net Energy Analysis”, among others.

He participates in professional associations, including Water Environment Association of the Philippines, Inc. and Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Dr. Manuel Quintal, completed his Associate in Arts and Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science and minor in English from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila), Bachelor of Laws from Far Eastern University Institute of Law, Master of Arts, major in Political Science from Manuel L. Quezon University, Doctor of Philosophy, major in Political Science from Concordia College & University, and Master of Laws, major in International Law from Hofstra University School of Law.

He managed his Law Office (Law Offices of Manuel B. Quintal, P.C.) in New York since 1989 with a concentration on immigration, residential and commercial real estate closings, contracts, wills and probates, matrimonial, bankruptcy, accidents, civil cases.

He is a selected volunteer (Pro Bono) who works as Arbitrator/Mediator for legal fee disputes at New York County Lawyers Association (NYCLA), under Part 137 of the New York State Rules of the Court Administrator (2007–present); General Counsel – Philippine Independence Day Council Inc., a non-profit corporation that organizes and sponsors the annual Philippine Independence Day Parade along Madison Avenue in New York City, (2005-present); Legal Adviser – Filipino Social Club of New York, Inc. (2007 – present); Chairman of the Board of Directors – National Association of New Americans, Inc (2008-present).

He also works as a columnist at the Philippine Daily Mirror, NJ-based an online newspaper  (June 2020–present); Executive Editor – International Tribune, a weekly English newspaper for the Asian American community, published in New York City, (2010-2012);  Columnist – NewStar Philippines, a weekly English newspaper for the Filipino American community in the eastern states of the U.S. (2006–2009).

Dr. Quintal is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Society of International Law.

He graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major in Financial and Management Accounting) from the Technological Institute of the Philippines – Manila in 2013.

He went on to pursue his Master in Business Administration (MBA) at PSBA graduated in 2016, and his Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) degree in the same school.

He worked in different private companies, as well as with several establishments in the food industry sector as an accounting officer for almost 5 years. He also taught Project Research and Development at the Graduate School of Business Philippine School of Business Administration-Manila.

He enhanced his professional knowledge and skills by attending many seminars and workshops related to his field of expertise.

Mr. Karl Michael E. Marasigan, the Acting Chief, Disaster Control Division and Head, QCDRRMO is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across all areas of service and operation management, especially in Disaster Risk Management in Changing Climate. He is an exceptional leader who has developed and motivated others to achieve set targets and demonstrated strong ability to manage projects from conception through to successful completion.

A proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, he performs effectively even in a highly pressured working environment. He has been supervising Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Trainings and Seminars for Government and Non-Government Organizations to include the inspection of disaster vulnerable areas and lead the Quezon City Rescue in providing the highest standards towards medical care to victims of disaster within the city.

Mr. Marasigan graduated with a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Lyceum of the Philippines. He has been a resource person for Local and International forums, conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums. He has attended a substantial number of local and international meetings, conferences and events representing the Quezon City government. He has been an advocate of partnership building on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.

Mr. Marlon Henson Obligado, the current Chief of the Plans and Programs Section of the Office of Civil Defense, National Capital Region, a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Carnegie Mellon University, Australia, and Master of Arts in Teaching Social Sciences from De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, was also a Member and Technical expert for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation of the Philippine Negotiating Team during the 21^st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change where the Paris Agreement on Climate Change was approved in 2015.

He formed part of the team that developed major policy instruments and plans such as the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan and Framework, the APEC Disaster Risk Reduction Framework, the Memorandum of Understanding for a Joint Collaboration Program for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, and the Philippine Position paper for UNFCCC negotiations for COP21.

He is also a member of the National and Regional Selection Committee of the Gawad KALASAG and the lead evaluator for Cities and Municipalities categories, evaluating the DRR programs and projects of partner agencies. He is also involved in project development and strengthening institutional linkages and partnership with different stakeholders to international development partners such as JICA, AusAID, AECID, WFP, and UNICEF.

Prof. Abdul Ghafoor completed his Master’s of Administrative Sciences in Public Administration in 1985 at the University of the Punjab and his Master’s in Business Administration in 1989 at the Lahore University of Management Science, both in Lahore, Pakistan. His professional banking career spanned for 8 years where he progressed through the hierarchies of different local and multinational banks, including Chase Manhattan Bank NA (JP Morgan Chase). In 1997, he moved to Dubai and ventured into entrepreneurship where he started offering Management Consultancy to Small and Medium Enterprises. While in Dubai, with its unparalleled growth, Mr. Ghafoor delved in the booming Real Estate Sector where he sold properties in two states of the United Arab Emirates and was also one of the pioneers of Short-Lets Self-Catering Apartments in Dubai. In November 2011, he founded Mangrove Cleaning Services LLC, a domestic and commercial cleaning business following the Blue Ocean Strategy and adopted Steam Cleaning as a principal method of its service delivery. It has since then become the most sought after Deep Cleaning company in Dubai, with its Unique Selling Proposition #GreenCleaning. His specialties include idea generation, conceptualization, strategy, business modeling, motivation, leadership, new business development, startups, and public speaking.

Prof. Michael Suss is a Master of Education on International Education from Monash University (2006), Master of Educational Studies (TESOL) from the University of South Australia (1998), Master of Educational Policy and Administration from Monash University (1006) and Master of Business Administration from Central Queensland University (1996). He is also a recipient of a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law & Practice from the Australia National University (2006). He is currently pursuing Doctor of Education from La Trobe University.

Prof. Suss is currently a Contract Trainer/Workplace Assessor and Business Development Consultant at various RTOs, including Professional Pathways (Monash College), iAscend, ANIBT and Sheila Baxter Training Centre, IEGT, Meridian Int., Carrick Institute of Education (Contracted Trainer to South Pacific International Pty Ltd). He is also Self-employed in self-owned private company as a Contracted Trainer. His primary responsibilities include desigining, marketing, and selling programs for securing of international students from overseas as well as local students; designing and producing marketing materials which are to be used in promotion of colleges overseas; developing new courses and new marketing programs; teaching courses in hospitality, TESOL and ELICOS, hairdressing, and frontline management theory subjects as required; and developing and teaching subject material in management, sales, hospitality, and human resources subjects as required; among others.

He was formerly a National Business Development Manager/IT Manager from Gould League, responsible for the promotion of the organisation through the media and the design, development and maintenance of a membership database; Consultant/Director from South Pacific International Pty. Ltd.; National Sales and Marketing Manager from Business Manager Software; Senior Travel Consultant/Director from The Travel Bag/American Express Pty Ltd.; Commercial Unit Consultant – Indonesia from Hawthorn International Education Ltd.; Travel and Tourism Programme Co-ordinator from Frankston College of TAFE; Managing Director/Business Development Manager from Video Technology Pty Ltd.; and Managing Director from Computer Edge Pty Ltd.

He is an Executive member of Australian Friends of Tel Aviv University; a Committee Member, Joint JNF/UIA Arava Desert Partnership 2000; a Member of Monash University Alumni Association; a Member of the International Association for Educational Assessment; a Volunteer Migration Agent for Western Suburbs Legal Service; a Red Cross volunteer for Australian disasters – bushfires, floods, etc.; and a Volunteer at Sacred Heart Mission, St. Kilda, VIC.
