Dr. Raza emphasized that the seminar is very important and helpful for current and future Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) students for their dissertation and for Master in Business Administration (MBA) students who enrolled in program with thesis writing. He mentions the tagline the he crafted on this research seminar, the \u201cNO PROBLEM NO SOLUTION\u201d. Molina<\/strong>, Faculty member of GSB, discussed about the thesis statement of the problem. He clarifies that a student who is doing a research study should first identify the specific problems of the study. First, he cited an example on the current Philippine Government Administration wherein corruption is the problem caused by political dynasties, and that Federal Government is the proposed solution. Next, he traffic issues as a problem and asked if digging more roads or by constructing more MRT\/LRT stations are right solutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Dr. Molina, also talked about the methodology and approaches on how to gather pertinent data, a real subject matter of the study, and the resources that you can use during the study. Participants enjoying their snacks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After the break, Dr. Raza, talked about statistical tools for thesis and dissertation writing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u201cStatistical Tools for Thesis and Dissertation Writing\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Dr. Raza <\/strong>started by informing the participants that there are two ways of crafting the statement of the problem: descriptive or narrative form. He called on Mr. Francis Castil, a DBA student, to explain what is narrative form.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1325\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1325\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1325 size-psba-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psba.edu\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/francis-480x360.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1325\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo 7. Mr. Francis Castil explaining what is narrative form in formulating a statement of the problem<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mr. Castil explained that narrative form is \u201clike you are telling a story to your reader in constructive, easy, and understandable way, and that also dictate the entire research study. Also, it could give an idea and get attention of your reader about your study\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Further, Dr. Raza suggested about the significance of the study of Mr. Bui&#8217;s research and that it should be part of the subject matter.
