The theme for the conference is <b>&#8220;Integrating Higher Education Institutions achieving Sendai Framework on Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) and Sustainable Development\u00a0Goals (SDG)&#8221;<\/b>. This event is hosted by AIT with partnership with the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), and Promotion of Sustainability in Postgraduate Education and Research (ProSPER.Net) and in association with Keio University, University Sains Malaysia, and Miyagi University of Education.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2274 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psba.edu\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/2019-ISDRSD-e1551892177231.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"210\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tabassam Raza, Associate Dean GSB and Director Research and Development DRM Unit, will be part of a panel discussing &#8220;Education, Capacity Development and Disaster Resilience&#8221; on March 7, 11:00am-12:30pm. Further, he will be presenting on &#8220;Estimating Disaster Economic Losses: Impact Rapid Assessment and Disaster Scaling (IRADS) Calculator&#8221; during a technical session on the same day from 2:00pm-3:40pm.<\/p>\n<p>In addtion, Mr. Ramon I\u00f1igo M.
