The Beginning of a Vision<\/h3>\n

PSBA was founded in October 1963 by visionary educators and professionals whose lives had been dedicated to university administration, teaching, business, industry, and the professions. They established the institution to prepare aspiring young men and women to meet the workforce needs of the Philippines as a developing nation.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n

From Review Center to Business School<\/h3>\n

The institution originally operated as a review and training center for Certified Public Accountants under the name Philippine Accounting and Taxation Training Services, Inc. (PATTS)<\/strong>. It soon became one of the country\u2019s largest CPA review schools, with its reviewees consistently ranking among the successful candidates in the CPA examinations.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n

The PSBA Name<\/h3>\n

In 1966, the institution changed its corporate name to the Philippine School of Business Administration<\/strong> and began offering baccalaureate programs in business administration. Graduate Business Education<\/h3>\n

To help meet the country\u2019s need for advanced management professionals in industry, commerce, and government, PSBA began offering its Master of Business Administration program<\/strong> in June 1979.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n

PSBA Quezon City Opens<\/h3>\n

In June 1981, PSBA opened its sister school in Quezon City under the name Philippine School of Business Administration, Inc. \u2013 Quezon City<\/strong>. Like PSBA Manila, the campus placed strong emphasis on academic quality and scholarship and quickly earned the trust of a growing student community.<\/p>\n

Doctor of Business Administration<\/h3>\n

Effective School Year 1993\u20131994, the Department of Education, Culture and Sports authorized PSBA to offer the Doctor of Business Administration<\/strong>. The program emphasizes creative scholarship, strategic management, professional competence, and the ability to respond to a changing business environment.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n\n
