Superior Scholarship<\/h4>\n

SUPERIOR SCHOLARSHIP PERFORMANCE OF ANY STUDENT SHALL BE RECOGNIZED THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF THE DEAN\u2019S HONOR LIST EVERY SEMESTER\/SUMMER TERM.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To qualify for the Dean\u2019s honor list, a student must obtain in any semester\/summer term a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 and with no grade below 2.5 in any academic subject, including Typing.<\/li>\n
  2. Students included in the Dean\u2019s Honor List shall be categorized, as follows:\n
      \n
    1. First Honor<\/b> \u2013 With GPA higher than 3.50<\/li>\n
    2. Second Honor<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 With GPA of 3.0 \u2013 3.50<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Students who qualify for the Dean\u2019s Honor List are awarded the \u201cCertificate of Academic Proficiency\u201d for every semester\/summer term of their qualification to the list.<\/p>\n

      The inclusion of a student in the Dean\u2019s Honor List shall be duly noted in his official academic records in the Registrar’s Office.<\/li>\n

    3. \n
      Honors and Awards Committee<\/h6>\n

      There shall be an Honor and Awards Committee in the School which shall determine at the end of each semester\/summer term the students who shall be included in the Dean\u2019s Honor List and also those who will graduate with honors, to be composed of:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. The Vice Dean, as Chairperson<\/li>\n
      2. The Registrar, Member<\/li>\n
      3. The President of PSBA Faculty Association, Member<\/li>\n
      4. The President of two (2) recognized Campus Organization to be designated by the President for a term of one school year, June 1 of one year to May 31, of following year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

        Graduation with Honors<\/h6>\n

        On graduation, student who remain in the Dean\u2019s Honor List at least twenty-five (25%) percent of their study in PSBA shall be entitled to graduate with Latin Honors of Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Cum Laude in accordance with the following cumulative GPA:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
        #<\/th>\nHonors<\/th>\nCumulative GPA<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n
        1<\/th>\nSumma Cum Laude<\/td>\n3.800 or higher<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
        2<\/th>\nMagna Cum Laude<\/td>\n3.600 to 3.799<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
        2<\/th>\nCum Laude<\/td>\n3.400 to 3.599<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

        Grades in subjects taken by a student in other schools before admission in PSBA may be included in the computation of the Cumulative GPA for purposes of determining qualifications for graduation with honors, provided such subjects do not constitute more than 25% of the total units required for graduation and are in subjects which are creditable for the course\/degree program in which he is graduating.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
