The inventory is utilized by the counselor to assist the student in coming up with well considered and realistic decisions.\u00a0 All new students and transferees are required to fill out the inventory record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Testing<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Testing is administered to incoming freshmen and transferees.\u00a0 It is used in counseling, selection purposes like in scholarships and admissions.\u00a0 It provides information about students\u2019 interest, abilities, attitudes, aptitudes and personality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Follow-up<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Guidance Center checks and monitor students referred to for improvement\/change of behavior.\u00a0 It is also done to counselee to ascertain the correct implementation of plans of action in the resolution of their problems which have been agreed upon in the counseling process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Placement<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Guidance Center helps the students in the selection of proper course or activity suited to their needs, interests, capacities and capabilities.\u00a0 It also assists the students in searching for a job after graduation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Orientation The Guidance Center assists students in their adjustment to college life by acquainting them with school programs, environment as well as its educational and course goals. \u00a0 Individual Student Inventory It gathers and organizes information about individual students.
